Then why are the Repulicans saying Obama is not protecting us from the “Terrorists”?

Answer: Today's Republicans have gone off the deep end.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday they rant about how Obama has driven the country into a death spiral of nazi-commie-terro-godless-fascism*, while on Tuesday and Thursday they smugly gloat about how Obama's policies are just like Bush's, and how Obama has failed in every one of his major policy initiatives.

To maintain sanity, I find it's best to ignore them as much as possible.

For those who opposed Bush and Cheney, the Obama administration has been a disappointment on just about every issue. The only exception might be that he's slightly better in the area of environmental policies. The civil liberties issues have been a huge disappointment and if anything, we're worse off now since many of Obama's avid supporters refuse to acknowledge that he's doing an atrocious job and many of those on the right don't understand the importance of civil liberties (or perhaps understand that they're own candidates are just as bad) and so aren't willing to speak up on the issue.
